Hello friend (Leigh)

My name is Leigh and I am 11 years old. I am  African American, Cook Island, British and Korean. 

I am proud to be me. Me and my family are Christians, and we are nice and kind. My parents are important to me and we are a happy family. 

I am an only child in my family. I am free, playful, loving, caring and I am the perfect 456 Gi hun as I like to copy that character from Squid Games.

Squid Games is my favourite game show. And also the numbers 456 is my favorite numbers  

 And I like spending time with my parents in my free time when I’m not at school and me and my parents are very close to each other every weekend we hang out to together.   

my grandparents was born in the cook islands in 1920s  and then in 1940s they went to the united states to stay for twenty years then they came back to cook islands in 1960s and they went to africa for another twenty years to explore the culture and visit the animals then in 1983 my uncles and my mum was born and in 1990s went back to the cook island then they stayed in cook islands for ten years and then they wanted to go to another country and they chose new zealand and then they chose to go to auckland in the 2000s and my mum was age 29 in  2010s and in 2013 i was born and in the 2020s i got covid 19 and in 2025 im at glen taylor And my grandparents died and that is some info about me     

Summer

By leigh in room 13 

Well to start off i went to napier with my mum and in our hotel we saw the sun rise and set and that was summer 

And iu saw my beautiful mum hugging me and kissing me and that was summer 

And i saw a mama duck with its chicks and they were swimming and that was summer 

And i saw my house when i had came back from napier and i saw my PS4 and that was summer 

And in napier i saw the beach and i liked seeing the sun shining in the water  

Fun with colours 

My family is blue because they are so soft, kind, loving and caring. 

My family is white and holey because they are happy. 

My family is pink because my mum is sweet like a strawberry.

My family is brown because they are from the Pacific. 

My family is blue and red because they are African American because my grandparents are from  Compton. 

My family is green because we all like mountain dew.

My family is red because they love me so much.  

My family is yellow because they love to shin

today we created paragraph art this is part representing your whanau your culture and your ancestors the blue one is me the purple one is my mum and the green one is my dad and i named the Tune-fa  fillered its sounds like a great name right ?      

1. cats have a scary form called the lion and the tiger
2. they come and sleep with you at night
3.  they are the most soft cute animals in the world

i think its better being tall then short because i can reach things and when i stand up i feel cool and you feel so big and huge and you feel like a tree and when you die being tall you have to get a big coffin and that ia why i like tall then short
